3DNow! is technology developed by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). It is a group of 21 instructions that provides performance enhancements for the x86 CPU architecture running multimedia and floating point intensive applications. 3DNow! is AMD’s answer to Intel’s Streaming SIMD Extensions.
