JavaScript - Definition
JavaScript is a language that allows for more interaction with the viewer. It is much more forgiving than Java as doesn’t require its own window in which to work. JavaScript is used in web site development to: automatically change a formatted date on a web page, cause a linked-to page to appear in a pop up window, and cause text or a graphic image to change during a mouse rollover.
