Scroll Bar - Definition
A Scroll Bar is a window element that appears when there is more information to view than will fit in the window. You use the mouse to slide the scroll bar, usually upward and downward, to shift the viewing area. A scroll bar at the bottom of the window lets you move the viewing area left and right. A scroll bar on the right side of the window lets you move the viewing area up and down.
