Task Bar - Definition
A Task Bar, in computing, is a term for the application desktop bar, located at the very bottom of the screen, which is used to launch and monitor applications within Microsoft Windows 95 and later operating systems. Other desktop environments (Mac OS) also feature similar interface elements.
