VRAM (Video RAM) - Definition
VRAM is an abbreviation for Video RAM. It is a type of dynamic RAM (DRAM) dedicated for higher speed video graphics. For video, both the processor and frame buffer must share the same signal line and buses. In VRAM, a separate line and bus is provided for the processor and the frame buffer.
